Karen McLoughlin is a UK‑based mindfulness and wellbeing practitioner whose work focuses on emotional balance, gentle healing and helping families bring more calm and connection into everyday life. Through Mindfulness Matters, she supports people in understanding their emotions, building inner resilience, and finding clarity through simple, accessible practices.

Her passion for emotional wellbeing naturally extends into her storytelling. Karen is the author of Grandma & Mr Myles Go To India, a children’s book that blends mindfulness themes with imaginative adventure, helping young readers explore feelings, culture and connection in a warm, relatable way.

Whether guiding adults or writing for children, Karen’s work carries the same intention: to make emotional wellbeing feel simple, nurturing and beautifully human.
